The tongue bass is a powerful tongue oscillation that creates a low-end sound that transfers excellently on a mic.

{ BDD }

The tongue bass is a combination of a Classic Kick Drum { B } and a Tongue Oscillation { DD }.

{ B } + { DD } = { BDD }

Purr your 'r' like a cat by placing the bottom of your tongue lightly on the roof of your mouth
Remove the vocalization so you only have the rolling of the 'r'
Make your mouth as stiff and closed as possible and create a very tight airflow
Move your mouth into different shapes to change the pitch - e.g. 'ee' and 'oo'
